Glynn D. Adams

Glynn has long been a stable and active leader in the Pest Control Industry. In Arkansas, the Arkansas State Plant Board is the governing agency over pest and termite control service businesses. Unlike many government agencies, the Arkansas State Plant Board is a self-supporting agency, operating off license fees, and reporting fees of the different industries over which it governs. From the Pest Control Industry, a representative is selected by the body of members of the Arkansas Pest Control Association and is submitted to the Governor for appointment as a member of the Board of the Arkansas State Plant Board. Glynn Adams of Adams Pest Control of Little Rock, Inc., served as representative under two governors, Governor Dale Bumpers and Governor Win Rockefellar, for a total of six years. He has served nearly continuously on various committees of the Arkansas Pest Control Association. He has served with distinction as President of the Arkansas Pest Control Association. He has served with distinction as President of the Arkansas Pest Control Association three times.

He has been actively involved with the National Pest Control Association, now the National Pest Management Association. He was recognized in Who's Who in Executives and Business for 2000. He has always strived through his activities, and supported legislation, to ensure that the Pest Control Industry be held accountable to the consumer for fair business practices and responsible service, with ever present safe environmental practices.

Glynn has worked diligently to protect the consumer from "fly-by-night" exterminators preying on the weaknesses of consumers, and to balance that with opposition to the influx of unnecessary legislation that would bring inflated costs to the shoulders of the same consumers.

The effects Glynn's hard work and efforts will remain for a long time within the Pest Control Industry, and within the hearts and minds of those who have come in contact with him or have had the privilege of working with him in various capacities.
